How to delete your Mysocial account

Step-by-step Guide on How to Delete Your MySocial Account:

1. Open MySocial App:

Begin by opening the MySocial app on your device. Make sure you're logged into the account you wish to delete.

2. Go to Your Profile:

Your profile can be accessed by tapping on the profile icon, usually found at the bottom right corner of the screen.

3. Go to 'Settings':

Once you are on your profile page, look for the 'Settings' option. This is typically symbolized by a gear icon. You should be able to find it on the top right corner of your profile page or within the side menu on your profile.

4. Tap on 'Delete  Account':

In the 'Account Settings' menu, find and select the 'Delete My Account' option.

5. Submit a Deletion Request:

You'll be required to confirm your decision, and you might need to enter your password for security reasons. After following the on-screen instructions, click 'Submit'.

This action will send a deletion request to our customer service team. Your request will be processed manually and may take up to 48 hours. After this period, your account will be permanently deleted.

What Happens to Your Data?

When you opt to delete your MySocial account:

• Posts: Your posts will be removed from our platform and will no longer be visible to other users.
• Personal Information: Any personal information we have, including your name, email, and contact details, will be deleted.
• Direct Messages: Your direct messages will be permanently erased.
• Account Data: Any data related to your account, including settings and preferences, will be deleted.

However, some data will be retained for a period of 30 days after the deletion of your account, for legal and safety reasons. This includes data about your interactions on our platform, such as likes, comments, shares, and reports of violations of our terms of service.

Once the 30-day period ends, all remaining data will be permanently deleted from our servers. Please keep in mind, once your account is deleted, the process cannot be reversed, and you won't be able to recover any data or information related to your account.
