Deciding to declutter your digital presence, take a break, or remove your account from a platform is a choice that we completely respect. This blog post is dedicated to guiding you through the process of deleting your MySocial account, an application developed by GoldenGlow AB, details of which can be verified in both Google Play Store and Apple's App Store.
1. Open MySocial App:
Begin by opening the MySocial app on your device. Make sure you're logged into the account you wish to delete.
2. Go to Your Profile:
Your profile can be accessed by tapping on the profile icon, usually found at the bottom right corner of the screen.
3. Go to 'Settings':
Once you are on your profile page, look for the 'Settings' option. This is typically symbolized by a gear icon. You should be able to find it on the top right corner of your profile page or within the side menu on your profile.
4. Tap on 'Delete Account':
In the 'Account Settings' menu, find and select the 'Delete My Account' option.
5. Submit a Deletion Request:
You'll be required to confirm your decision, and you might need to enter your password for security reasons. After following the on-screen instructions, click 'Submit'.
This action will send a deletion request to our customer service team. Your request will be processed manually and may take up to 48 hours. After this period, your account will be permanently deleted.
When you opt to delete your MySocial account:
However, some data will be retained for a period of 30 days after the deletion of your account, for legal and safety reasons. This includes data about your interactions on our platform, such as likes, comments, shares, and reports of violations of our terms of service.
Once the 30-day period ends, all remaining data will be permanently deleted from our servers. Please keep in mind, once your account is deleted, the process cannot be reversed, and you won't be able to recover any data or information related to your account.
